Hey, Courtney! I checked the listing on the off chance that there would be a hobby lobby near me, but the farthest east they go is North Carolina.... No where near Manila, Philippines. Wink [;)] On the other hand, I will be going to Chicago to attend my cousin's wedding in may (as long as i get my visa)... this is 'round about your part of the world, right? any good hobby shops there?? Big Smile [:D]

Hi Shrikes,
In response to you r question about shops in the Chicago region, there are many good ones. If you only have time for one, try to make it to Venture Hobbies in Wheeling/Buffalo Grove (it is right on the border of the two cities. Walls, I mean, WALLS of kits, decals, tools, paints...I went in there last fall with my spouse, spent three hours...had to take my beloved to a special dinner:). Venture is north/northwest of the city about 45 miles. The Hobbyretailer.com search thingie has the address, as well as addresses and phone numbers for other stores in the area. Have fun!

Shrikes,
If you only go to one store in the Chicago area, make sure it is M & M models. You will not be disappointed. It is one the best stocked stores I have seen, second only to
CRM Hobbies in St. Louis.
