Why , Hello !

That was neat . I'd forgotten about that old ad ! Anyway thanks for a good sense of humor .That is so lacking today . I definitely think "QUINTS" old " ORCA " could be modified from some resin HO boat kits I've seen . Good Luck !  Tanker-builder

Excuse me , doesn't GAF stand for GENERAL ANILINE AND FILM ? HE.HE. There was a firm by that name many , many years ago . No offense meant . You just don't run across that set of letters together that way very often . You are right though , the ORCA would look good sliding stern first down that big hungry gullet !

Yeah, I was thinking if you did Quint you'd have to do the 'Orca' too. I suspect you could find a model or toy fishing boat that would look pretty close.

I like the 1/700 sub idea. And ya know? Roy Scheider was in 'Blue Thunder' too wasn't he? Be funny to have him as Sheriff Brody show up with a helicopter gunship. Wink

You really need a model of the "Orca" (Quint's boat) with that.  Big Smile

I dare you to build it with a 1/700 scale sub in its mouth!

Or, how about a little Capt. Quint in his "jaws"?Wink

You're gonna need a bigger shelf.

Does it come with an exploding SCUBA tank?

Wow.

That looks cool.  And I'll admit...I had never heard of that before.  (Not the shark....the model.)

On the bench:  Tamyia Mosquito Mk. VI for the '44 group build.  Yes, still.

My next project. For those of you that know me, it's not my usual gig. However, who wouldn't want to build a Great White...honestly? A new release from Pegasus I picked up this past weekend. It's my first vinyl kit so there will be a learning curve. Progress to come...    Wink
