Great. Now you've made us all hungry. ;)
"Some say the alien didn't die in the crash. It survived and drank whiskey and played poker with the locals 'til the Texas Rangers caught wind of it and shot it dead."
It would help if I put the file in there.

Al my photos are 800x600. I think that big enough to see what's going on.
An example... dinner the other day.
OctaneOrange you might have legendary internet connections where you are, but my government thinks the Telegraph is very high tech and old copper wire is fine.

ROTFL!! I won't ask what country you live in Octane!! I figure there's still a lot of members in your situation!
But according to Don, it really doesn't matter what size the photo is as long as you don't click on it to download the full size photo. That's what my initial concern was. I remember when it took quite a while for a whole thread page to download if there were a lot of photos of high resolution embedded in it. To Don's point, I haven't had that problem for quite some time.

For photos embedded in the forum message FSM automatically resizes the image to fix that problem. You only see the original resolution if you "click" on the picture. So I upload full resolution to Photobucket. If you just view the picture in the forum you see a reduced res pic, with no downloading problem. But if you want to see it in higher res, you can click on it. Sure, that larger image will take longer to download, but you need to be aware of that if you click on the image.

A few years ago some of the forum members had problems with large photo files and appreciated posted photos with a resolution of 1024x768. Anything larger ate up a lot of bandwidth and took a long time to download, especially if their Internet connection wasn't the greatest. Since then I've always resized my posted photos from a larger size (which I prefer) to 1024x768, although sometimes I forget !
We've all seen amazing advances in technology recently...Internet download speeds have increased dramatically, larger widescreen computer monitors seem to predominate, and computers now have advanced video graphics cards. On my 2 yr old, basic computer 1024x768 looks small.
So what photo resolution do you members use for posted photos? Are larger resolutions preferred now? I'm thinking of upping to the next resolution, maybe larger, but don't want to go too big.
Thanks all and Happy Modeling!
