Christmas in April....
There is nothing like coming home to a package at the doorstep ( unless of course its a paper bag that is on fire or its ticking). This is especially true if the post markings are from the Czech Republic! After a week and a half wait, it finally arrived.!!

The white box under the Spit is a set of over trees which are just the sprues to the Spit kit and nothing else. Some folks have pointed out that the kit does not include the armor plating behind the seat in styrene which is true. Fortunately having picked up the Brassin pit, I have 2 copies of that particular etch set so I will be able to build 2 complete kits. .
I've also been eyeing that MiG for some time now and although buying either of these 2 alone would have cost more that buying them in the states, buying them together ended up saving me around 20 dollars even with shipping as its free over a certain amount. I dont think Eduards BFC is a great idea for the individual modeller here in the states, however if you are part of a club or have a few friends that model, the 15% discount would save a bit of money on a group order as long as your were buying ahead and not in a hurry for it.
That being said, I am really looking forward to digging into either of these kits!! Does anyone have any recommendations on markings for the MiG? The only ones in the box are NMF and I would much rather see it in color!!!
