I posted this elsewhere on the wrong part of the forum.
I've almost finished a Spitfire model although it has turned into a disaster.
When I applied a coat of Tamiya semi gloss clear acrylic to the painted fuselage and wings (Tamiya acrylics also) it seemed to thin the paint underneath which has made it streak and become blotchy. Now the lighter green paint has streaks of the darker green and the dark green has become really uneven and blotchy. I didn't seem to have this problem with a recently finished hurricane even though i'm using the same paints.
I'm using Tamiya acrylics with paintbrushes (can't afford spray set up). I repainted it and tried again with very small amounts with the same result.
Any help would be great. Can I get semi gloss paints of different colours like greens and stuff??
