1/48 scale vegetation for camo
Posted by FJI05 on Saturday, June 8, 2013 8:37 PM

What is the best source of artificial vegetation to be used in 1/48 armor.  I would like to apply this to turret and upper deck of tanks that I am building.  I have seen it in others work but having a hard time finding the materials. Interested in branches and what appears to be old logs or tree branches with and without leaves.

Thanks in advance.

for logs just go out to your backyard and pick up sticks of various sizes maybe dry them out a bit if are fresh falls. Then branches look for small tree roots and other types of roots if you have a creek or lake near by that's the best place to find right looking sized roots, around the waters edge.
