Piper Seminole Kits- Any Out There?
Posted by FelixFelicitus on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 3:37 AM

Hey all-

So I'm looking to find a Piper Seminole kit to put together as a present for my gf, who is finishing up her multi engine rating next month. However, Master Google seems to be telling me that no scale model kits exist for this plane, which I find incredibly hard to believe and would make me quite sad if true.

Does anyone here know of any kits, in any scale, that would let me throw this lovely little plane together? Thanks for the help!

J-Bar hobbies is the most likely place I know of to have multi-engined Pipers. I don't remember the brand they carry that features a lot of general aviation twins, but I remember J-Bar as one of the few mail order retailers that carries the brand.  You might ask this in the Civil Aircraft forum- some folks there are really up on civil aircraft kits and stuff.

I think Gremlin Models made a bunch of vac/resin civie twins, but no Seminole. You could get an Airfix Arrow and do some serious converting. Or check eBay for some of the desk models.
