Italeri Customer Service
Posted by Amtrac6 on Friday, July 12, 2013 11:56 AM

I would like to let our viewers know of the excellent service provided by Italeri in providing me with parts for  their  LVT-(A)1 kit that were broken off and lost during a recent move.

After I contacted them, they immediately replied, the requirement being that I needed to provide the part numbers to proceed.

Thanks to waynec on the armor forum I was able to give them those numbers.

On 3 July I sent the info and payment ~$7.  On 10 July the envelope with parts was waiting in my postbox.

I think that is pretty darn good service  and deserves recognition.

As often as one hears horror stories make the rounds about various companies' inattention to customer service, it's always refreshing to hear when something goes right. Kudos to Italeri, and thanks for sharing it with the rest of us.

Not bad... but Tamiya, Revell, Hasegawa, and Testors customer service departments have all replaced parts free of charge in my contacts with them.

I ordered some replacement parts, from Italeri.  They responded immediately.   That was early last year.  I just received the replacements a couple of weeks ago.
