                        There were numerous Calvin and Hobbs modeling refrences,they were very funny.

                        Yes the dad in  "for better or for worse" was a model railroader the last time around.

                        So is the husband of the cartoonist, so she probably knows of what she draws.

                         Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

                        Sorry, no link but it was modeling related. Daddy is trying to build a model plane (with little success) and his son is helpfully pointing out things like "Hey, you got glue on the windshield!"Big Smile
