I belong to several local model clubs, and it is common for members to bring old magazines they are cleaning out.  Also, occasionally someone will bring a book or two to just circulate through the group and whoever wants can keep it.

Airpower and Wings were great magazines.

Had photos of aircraft I never knew existed.

Sadly, all my issues dating to the first  ones in 1971 were destroyed in a flood a few years ago.

Someone decided to divest himself of some old Airpower/Wings, AirCombat, and Air Classics magazines with the local hobby shop yesterday, so I got to scoop some up for cheap. I didn't even know there was such a thing as a Gloster F9/37, and several issues had line drawings of the different marks of A5M Claudes/A6M Zeroes. One issue had a photo article of Vietnam MiG killers, and another with Bicentennial aircraft. Neat stuff.
