love the fall

Hey !

 Polystyrene may be your favorite substancs , But , did you ever try to work with it when sweat is running in your eyes ! I welcome cooler weather  .Now I can get some work done on client and personal ships. That said  Seasick , what is your favorite line of model building ? I do some planes and specific armor pieces just to relax from all the floating tingys .

  I am currently putting the Fruilmodel tracks together for my " Dicker Max " german self propelled gun . I don't know which is worse , those tracks , or etched brass for a 1/700 scale ship ! Planes now , I don't seem to have much trouble with . Just don't have room for many . Model On - -Tanker - Builder

Hey seasick that's not funny!!!!! :)  try lows of 15 below o  .......that's when I lock myself in the model room and come out for nothing...even if the house is on fire at least i'm warm!!!!!  :)

Down here in Houston we just had our first cold front of the year it got us down into the 80s. Might even fall into the 50s tonight!

Too much leaf raking, fertilizer, insect spraying, etc.  I'll take winter, unless it is very snowy. It takes me less time to blow my driveway than to cut the lawns, so even if I have a storm once per week that needs to be blown, I am ahead on modeling time compared to summer.

Oh I never miss a Packer game ..Have not missed one since I was about 10 years of age..I am 50 now

48 scale aircraft. Mostly wwII but about to venture into cold war jets with Eduard's Mig-21. I hear Tamiya armor kits are great for beginners and still have nice detail.

Nice to meet you Nathan....what do you build?? I have never built tanks, but had a buddy give me about 20 different 1/35 late 60's early 70's issues of Tamiya kits.. can't wait to try one.

Definitely fall here in Northern MN. My prime modeling season starts now and will go through March. Got too many unfinished projects to finish from last spring...
