diorama figures and decals
Posted by Fenderman66 on Sunday, October 20, 2013 8:58 AM

Hello friends, two questions for you :

I'm looking to build a Vietnam era diorama with a Huey Medevac chopper ,and am looking for the proper 1/48 figures (wounded soldiers, gurneys, infantryman in motion , etc) ; also, the kit I have is just a plain 'slick' Huey, I'm looking for the proper decals to make it a medevac, not having much luck on line. I guess it wouldn't be that hard to just paint them on but, seeing as I'm just getting back into things, the easier the better, hope someone can help, thanks !

I know this isnt the answer your lookin for but your better off getting a 1/35 huey. Cause 1/48 there just isnt very much veitnam figures. if you do go with a 1/35 huey go to dragon hobbys store on ebay they got tons of veitnam figures & supplys. And if your eyes are any thing like mine (after 20 years of welding) 1/35 is alot easyer to see! sorry i couldnt help out in the 1/48 problem but theres not really alot out ther for 1/48 veitnam.

I agree with luke, your going to be hard pushed to find what you want in that scale. Figures tend to be limited to aircrew. I just checked Hannants and all they had were a Ground crew set and 3 aircrew. And I couldn't find anything on any of the other sites I use.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
