One of the best things about Badger is the lifetime (labour) warranty. If something goes wrong, send it in and they'll fix it for you (at the cost of postage and parts if required) good as new.

Is Badger reliable? I purchased one in 1977 and I still use it! Must be a model 150 cause it's DA. I got as a gift a Renegade for extra fine work and I can get hair thin lines with it. A while back Michael's had the Badgers on sale and picked up a 155 Anthem for I think $22! You can't go wrong with  Badger. Yes

i have been using a patriot since february. i like it easy to clean only really clogged it once trying to spray tamiya clear green. most of my posted builds this year are done with one using acrylics (MMA tamiya polyscale).

i use a HARBOR FREIGHT adjustable compressor w/ 3gal tank which cost $40. noisy but that isn't a concern in my situation.

All I'd say on that is get the best you can afford. If you can get an air tank that will help but I wouldn't recommend a set one just in case. if you find one post on here and sure people will give you advise

I have four badgers, 2 200's, a 150 and the Velocity and can happily say they are all great airbrushes. I don't have the Patriot as it falls between the 150 and the Velocity I think but if they are any measure you wont have any major issues at all.
