Are You Talkin to me !!

Naw , really I have had the same problem with some of my old Airfix 1/24 and 1/32 models .Now for strength I have the Airfix release of the Flower Class Corvette .I - R.C.d it  too . Well, I gotta tell ya ,  I operate mine in real world rough and calm water here on the Comal and Guadalupe rivers .So far nothing but angry duck damage ! Fixed with brass .They can't catch my subs or motoryachts ! Now that said .Ships with two piece hulls are the guilty ones in my groups .It seems even with extra tabs on the hull halves , the ones That were manufactured in POLAND are splitting . And the oldest is only four years old !

Yes , this happens to armor and cars too .I have a M-48-A-1  that I had to buy FRUILMODEL tracks for .The vinyl ones just about turned to dust ! And many of the car's paint is thinning out like my hair from dusting too much ,  I guess .     Tanker-Builder
