seasick

Beware of kits on Amazon. They are frequently well above market value.

also with amazon they aren't always coming from amazon so you may not get the $25 free shipping. this isn't a scam just some kits are through another distributor.

Squadron is my primary source for kits and over the holidays they can offer up some great deals. I just bought the Trumpeter 1/32 A-6 from them for $115. SprueBros is also a great site too.

NEPA...I thought it was some exotic foreign land LOL!  I deal with Squadron, Freetime Hobbies and Scale Hobbyist. I think the last one has the best going prices except when Squadron has those 40% discount sales that the kit prices become very attractive. I recently picked from Squadron a Trumpy 1/32 scale Bf109E with a complete engine, full radio equipment, super detailed pit and pe details for under $25! can't beat that price!

Okay, thought that's what you meant but wanted to make sure.

The two sites I use, that carry models and related supplies and accessories are Squadron.com and Spruebrothers.com. I use Squadron the most since I've dealt with them since I was a kid. But I like Spruebrothers as well and what you can't find at one you may be able to find at the other. They both carry models from just about every category as well as aftermarket details. Most of the models that both sites carry fall into the aircraft, ship, and military categories but they also carry car models as well as Sci-Fi/Space and miscellaneous kits. They also carry tools, paints, adhesives and other supplies related to the hobby.

Micro-Mark is another site I buy from. They specialize in tools used by model builders and people who work with miniatures.

Two more sites I deal with are The Model Car Garage and Detail Master. These two sites carry aftermarket details and other accessories for the auto modeler.

I've never had any major complaints about any of these sites.

I live in NEPA and there seems to be no true hobby shops that carry plastic models and tools. I was wondering what are some good places online to purchase kits and other necessary supplies for modeling?
