Trees and plants: putting things into proper perspective
Posted by Crafty on Friday, February 7, 2014 2:40 PM
Hi everyone! I hope your week has gone well. I am preparing way in advance for the creation of my first diorama. My question is this: How large should the trees be if my figures are 28mm? Thanks in advance for your responses. ~Crafty

Given trees come in sizes from shrub to Massive Oak, i don't think scale is a big issue. just make them a size that looks good to you.

OctaneOrange,

I agree.  I only need to stay away from the trees that I tower over!  :)

Well,if 28 mm equals about 6 feet, do the math. A 60 foot tree would be 280 mm tall, a 30 foot tree would be 140 mm tall.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

I think you might ask this question in the diorama forum and get more answers.
