SIlly question concerning Lightweight Hydrocal
Posted by Redruum on Friday, February 28, 2014 4:26 PM

So I ordered a box of lightweight hydrocal. When it came int he mail i opened the package and it had busted inside. The powder poofed up out of the box and I got a little in my mouth and nose. Dangerous? Should I be worried? I feel stupid

I will not sacrifice the Enterprise. We've made too many compromises already; too many retreats. They invade our space and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no further! And *I* will make them pay for what they've done."

Here's the MSDS I found for it. Might be some helpful info in there:

"Some say the alien didn't die in the crash.  It survived and drank whiskey and played poker with the locals 'til the Texas Rangers caught wind of it and shot it dead."

I've had this happen to me when opening bags of plaster (of Paris) and Portland cement which both contain the same stuff as Hydrocal.

Never had any noticeable effects on me lasting more than 3-4 minutes.

Definitely would want to remove contact lens if something like this got in your face.

If you are still definitely feeling the effects the next day then its something a doctor needs to check.
