It seems to me that all you guys know every trick in the book for successful modeling, and I was wondering if you would be willing to share some of the guides/tips/discussions that you have found to be the most helpful to you. I specifically model 1/48 aircraft for the most part, but I would really love anything you could dig up. I'm still fairly new to the hobby, and I have found some really great help on this site, and I'd like to create an archive of sorts of modeling guides. However, there is no possible way I will be able to find every great bit of info on the internet, so I'm asking for some help.
For example, a couple days ago I came across "How to paint a convincing cockpit (tutorial)..." by lawdog114 (found at http://cs.finescale.com/fsm/modeling_subjects/f/2/t/156030.aspx?sort=ASC&pi240=1) . This was an excellent and extremely helpful tutorial, and I know this is something I will definitely use in the future. Special thanks to lawdog114 for taking the time to help out an amateur such as myself.
So please let me know some of the helpful works you've found over the years, it would all be greatly appreciated. Seeing some of the talent floating around on this site I know you guys have plenty of knowledge to share (unless it's secret! haha)
