I've never been a big civil aircraft fan but I REALLY like the U.S. Airways model. My mom retired from them about 15 years ago and I'd love to build her a model just like yours. Very inspiring and thank you for posting! Which kit did you build and did it come with those markings?
Also, kudos on the Cobra. I've always liked that helicopter and you did a great job on it. Is that the Monogram kit?
Eric
Yes, which kit is the copter. love the paint and weathering. I'm not a helicopter guy but seeing that one makes me want to do one.

thanks guys. Yep the cobra is the Revell kit. its a very old kit and was a bit of a pain to assemble. Lots of fit issues, but a fun model. It can be built fairly quickly, this one only took 2 weekends. I just used black chalk pastel dust for the weathering.
The us airways model is the HASEGAWA 11101 1/144 J-Air Embraer 170 Modern Jet Airliner . very high quality model.
I got the decals from www.drawdecal.com

I loved the blue version if usairs livery. reminds me of the 90's in Pittsburgh.
SilverGood job and I like your work station.Post it to any Forum you want.Your the Boss.
Or, you could actually post it to the correct forum. Hey, that's an idea! In spite of Mr. Silver's belief, you are not the boss, none of us are...sheesh.
"All you mugs need to get busy building, and post pics!"
I'm the boss in my house but only because my wife lets me.
Thank you for the info, Falcon. When my mom used to work for U.S. Air, I'd do a little traveling for pennies on the dollar. I liked that Pittsburg airport. I haven't been in there in about in about 15 years or more but they used to have this great little place where I could get a wonderful Reuben sandwich. I'd get off my flight, run to the sandwich shop, grab a Reuben, then run back to the terminal to catch my connecting flight. While everyone else crunched their peanuts, I'd break out the Reuben. LOL!
Falcon,
What color paint did you use on your cobra?
Hi John,
I used Tamiya XF-59 Desert Yellow.
Cool, Thanks. I went and bought a cobra Tuesday at my LHS and it's already out on the work bench. Sometimes even when I've got a bunch of models already in progress I have to throw one in there that hits my fancy. yours was one of those.
Great work, love that Cobra!!
