Been building Hobby Boss' 1:48 A6 Intruder and love the kit. However, while trying to stretch the sides of the radome just a little I completely wrecked it. Boiling plastic = BAD DAY. Never had tried it and never will again. The part(s) shrank dramatically and are now unusable. I'm now trying to figure out:
A: How to get a new part or sprue from Hobby Boss or any after market stuff. Haven't seen anything.
B: Some method of scratch building a new radome.
C: Chalk it up to a bad experience and get another kit.
Up to this point, the kit is looking pretty good and I hate to abandon it. Does anyone know how to find individual sprues or parts for kits? I've emailed Hobby Boss via their feedback page but I'm not expecting much. Suggestions? I'm new to the forums and maybe this should have been posted elsewhere. Just trying to save this build.
