Tom's Modelworks makes a set of PE spokes for WW1 aircraft that will work for a number of pre-WW1 aircraft. You must remove the center of the kit wheels, which is a bit of a pain, but it does work. I have used these on a couple of old kits kitted by someone and released by Pyro and several others, and they look great on those kits.
