The two most likely sources would have been old pre war Polish Army weapons that the Germans missed confiscating after their conquest of Poland, and weapons captured from the Germans tehmselves. Perhaps some homemade and civilian sporting/hunting firearms as well.

Weapons of the ZOB

Sorry for posting this in two forums, but I wanted to make sure it was out there enought that everyone might see it. I have a question out there & I'd like to pick your minds. My girlfriend (who is a huge history buff, especially WWII & the Holocaust) is writing a paper & was wondering what kinds of hand weapons the the ZOB (the Jewish Combat Organization, or the Żydowska Organizacja Bojowa) used during the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. She's done several bits of research & has come up empty. Can anyone help out??
