Folks,
Here's letting you know I'm still alive and kicking! I was active in the forum again recently but fallin off the posts as the farm home job thing is eating up all my time. I'm winning on all 3 fronts but progress may be a little slow. I'll be back when I can, so no need to post a "Missing: Hans Von-Hammer" type search thing, (although I don't think I was ever quite that popular!) Keep on painting and gluing and above all, thanks for your posts; I model on vicariously through them!

Farming.....whew, that's tough work...I've seen a lot of folks try to pick that up down here, being somewhat nostalgic I guess; now I realize why my dad left the farm after he grew up. No 9 to 5 there! Poke your head in when you can; that's my favorite Crusader nose art.
My hat's off to you. Had a relative that was a farmer. Didn't see much of him except when he held the family reunion every year at the farm. Chased the cows out of a field so we could have a softball game. but

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
Thanks for the responses you guys! But let me clarify. I live on one third acre in city Puget Sound where I raise a healthy crop of weeds coupled with some grass and a few vegetables. 4 dogs and 2 cats to feed, 5 vehicles to maintain about wraps it all up. Not to mention the care and 'Loving Concern' one must put into 33 years of wedded bliss!
Working 6 days a week is the tough part coupled with my other chores. Just haven't made time for hobbies; hoping when work goes back (if it does) to three-twelves, life will get back to normal.
Currently, we have the USS Momsen DDG 92 in dry dock for repairs and a shave and haircut.
Welcome home f8

Wouldn't want to be slidin' in to those bases

wing_nut - we always brought a change of clothes with us. There was a stream next to the field and everyone went for a dip after the game no matter how cold the water was.
