Thank you, I also believe I can make a good use of the pictures on the box, and of course the colors used on the Prince of Wales and George the fifth

Trumps color instructions in my experience are completely unreliable anyhow.

There's plenty of material available. Ill look it up tonight in my books for the color number, but I think it's all over 507c light gray, really simple.

Toms, Gold medal, Lion Roar and WEM also make PE sets. You'll have to read up on the relative merits of each, but do get at least one.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Paul

Go to www.modelwarships.com/.../ships

Select 1/350 (top right hand corner)

Select Trumpeter

Scroll down to 3rd last kit and click on the picture of the Model Kit Box

It has details including the sprues and instructions on assembly. The only thing I could not find is what colours to use as they do not appear to be in the instructions but you might be able to work that out from the pictures. If it has Photo Etch parts go to http://www.eduard.com/store/out/media/53020.pdf

Hope this helps

Instructions for building HMS Hood ? Trouble contacting Trumpeter

Hello fellow modelers,

I recently acquired a model kit that was not new.  It is complete as far as I can see, but the instruction book is missing. Therefore I cant tell if all of the sprues are present. I have also had no luck trying to contact Trumpeter for help.

I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the instructions for the 1/350 scale model, and if they would be willing to part with them, or a copy.

Also has anyone found a way to contact them as the website does not seem to work for me. I would greatly appreciate any and all help.

Paul
