trumpeter westland whirlwind cockpit

Started to build the Trumpeter Whirlwind and of course the first thing is the cockpit. AND seems Trumpeter has messed it up again. Just like their P-40 and MiG-3 (that I know of), the cockpit is wat to shallow. A pilot would have to be missing his legs to fly this bird - but then he couldn-t use the hardly noticeable rudder pedals!

Dear Trumpeter - why do you have such a hard time with cockpits? Not only is the depth of the cockpit way to shallow, the decal you provide for the instrument panel does not match the profile of the panel (piece A3) and the dials do not line up with part A3 ! ?
