The closest thing to a podcast that I know of is "The Plastic Scale Modeling Hour ".
Also check youtube. Lots of users post their builds, present tutorials, and do reviews. There is also something on youtube and google called 'hangouts" where groups of invited users get together and discuss the hobby. All are well worth checking out. A word of advice. Don't restrict yourself just to your particular interest. I started out watching just scale model building. I now watch model railroading videos for weathering, landscaping, and structure building. Miniatures for figure painting. War gamers for all of the above. I even watch the crafting ladies for hints on sculpting with clay!
Once you start looking you will find than you could ever watch.
One caveat. Quality does vary from worthless to worth paying for. Just a personal preference but I refuse to watch the videos with nothing but music in the background and maybe some text explanation. I'm sure it has to do with me being a visual+auditory learner as I also cannot just listen to an audio explantions without video or pictures.
