Longest Day GB round up
Posted by Bish on Sunday, July 27, 2014 1:44 PM

I am here to revive an old tradition of posting all the completed builds of a GB in a round up thread for all to see. Given the nature of the builds in this GB, I will do it here.

The longest day GB was the idea of Hans von Hammer, who as many will know has been absent since early 2013. The GB ran from 6th June 2013 and ended on 6th June 2014. We still had a couple of on going builds at the end of the GB hence the delay. The GB was open to anything land, sea and air from both Allied and Axis sides that took part in the Normandy campaign from D-day until D+24.

We had a wide range of great builds with a very high percentage completed. And besides that, we had lots of laughs and some great information shared along the way. So I hope you enjoy these completed builds which in some small way paid tribute to those from both sides who fought and often died i9n the summer of 1944.

So, in the order in which they were completed.
