Was not as careful as I thought and got some Testors Clear Parts glue on the door glass of my Italeri 1/72 OH-6A Cayuse. How can I remove it?
I'm pretty sure you don't. Maybe try painting it with Future. Other than that you are pretty much SOL.
A strong isopropyl alcohol may remove it. I keep some 91% on hand at my work bench. Alcohol will not hurt styrene nor acrylic, but is a decent solvent for many glues and paints (not enamel nor lacquer, however).

Hi;
My experience in this is slight ,but being as how I am restoring electric trains ( H.O.) for our museum , I make mistakes . I remove it with Isopropyl alcohol or hot soapy Dawn and five minutes of soaking . T.B.
Testors clear parts cement is basically diluted Elmer's white glue. It should be water soluble.
You Sir are one hundred percent Correct ! Is that a photo of you in Scrambled Eggs ? Cool !
Yes, dragged out the dress blues for a wedding of a former captain (now retired lieutenant colonel) who used to work for me back in 2006.
Thanks for all the info guys. I'll try the water then the alcohol. I'll let you know. Rob what branch were you? I was Aviation.
All I have left is my old Marine Dress cover .That doesn't come out of the hat- box much .
