The differences are significant, and why none of the model companies with ranges of Sabres, like Hasegawa, have done this variant. It would essentially be a totally new kit for this one variant, not one they can easily release again and again with minor adjustments.

In 1/72 the only one I know of is the Matchbox kit. Okay for its day, but not so hot now. It also appeared in an AMT box before Matchbox closed up the kit business. To date, I do not think this is one of the kits that the now mold owner, Revell Germany, has done a reissue of.

There are no other kits of the F-86A.   Your best solution to get an A model would be to do a lot of work to an E kit.  Besides those items already mentioned, the A had a narrower fuselage than the E.   If you start with the Lindberg A you still have a ton of work as the kit was designed in the late 50's and is very inaccurate shapes with no details.

I'm by no means an expert here, but;

E added leading edge slats & a revised fin fairing to accommodate it's "all flying" tail.

F-10 had the slats & revised fairing

F-30 had a larger wing (without slats) & revised fairing

Between a F-86A Sabre Jet and the F-86F Sabre Jet? If so, what is it? The only kit of the F-86A model I can find is Lindberg brand. All others are D, E, and  F variants.
