I agree Tarn Ship. Testors simply just don't get it.  They think white is white and black is black.

Yeah, Rex, it is pretty old, but there's still an Oldsmobile and Ernie Irvan Lumina that needs it, so they can join Sterling Marlin's Monte Carlo in the stable. Been meaning to build them for over ten years now.

On a more serious note, it almost sounds as if Testors is doing what the soda companies do, buy out the competitor to eliminate the threat. It could also be the dreaded "synergies" formula; it's cheaper and more efficient to make our formula rather than continue with the formulas that they bought from the mergers.

Need that #75 Remington green for that old tbird, too.

Geez, Glenn, there's an "antique color" if I ever heard of one.

Other than the famous number 4,,,,,,,I dimly remember a #12 Dodge in that color as a sponsor for a few races one year. Maybe when those two Dodges were both blue most of the time?  (less rare than CAM2 Mercury Penske red-orange, though)

Had that happen when the NASCAR colors sort of went away. That was understandable, though, many of the colors are common, but then there's Kodak Yellow.....

They also didn't tell you something that they seem to just not realize. (you can find those 16 colors at the end of each "paint pallete thingy" on their site, by the way, most are RR colors)

Modelers that want Reefer White in Acrylic don't want that *color* in MM Acrylic formula,,,,,,they wanted that *Polly Scale formula* continued into the MM paint line when Testors said they were going to continue some colors on after the paint chop.

After 173 people said they wanted Reefer White back,,,,,,,,Testors very carefully mixed up some white in MM formula,,,,,and probably don't yet understand why it isn't flying off the shelves.

I bet no one ever thought they would have to explain the difference between a Color and a paint formula to a paint company, lol.

Best bet is to snatch the colors while you can. I agree with stik. Testors say one thing then does something the opposite. I recently emailed them regarding PollyScale being discontinued and told them they looked as if they're not catering to model hobbists anymore.

Testors did respond telling me the last 16 PollyScale colors are now in Testors bottles and they are not moving away from catering to modellers. What gets me, they didn't elaborate what 16 colors went to Testors brand.

Yeah, I had noticed several other colors recently getting the ax, like some of the grays. Camouflage Grey FS 36622 is one gone from the enamel line now. Used to be #1733. But is still available in a rattle can and acrylic. Wonder what gives....

Testors keeps dropping the ball. The buy out and discontinue their (better) competition. Now they continue to shrink their paint line. I guess they really do not want to stay in this line of busines...

They probably think that their 15042 is the same color and all we have to do is flat coat it,,,,,,,but, that isn't true.

My local hobby shop owner recently advised me that Testors is discontinuing this color.

Does anyone know why they would do that, or if they plan to replace it?
