Any of the Tamiya 1/32 props is going to be an excellent choice. I've built three of them and while the later releases (Mustang and Corsair) are a little more complex in engineering, they go together like a dream.
I think if your competent in basic construction and painting you'll be fine. Yes, they do tend to be higher up there in price compared to some others, but the experience is worth it I think. They require more thought and greater complexity in subassemblies, so they take a little longer to complete. That just equates to more bang for the buck. IMO
