removing crazy glue film on clear plastic

Here was my solution: I ended up sanding the windshield with a series starting with 600 grit (which made it look like frosted glass and had me wondering how hard it would be to find a replacement )then moving to 2000, 3000, 4000 and 8000. Then I hit it with Novus 1, 2 and 3 then a final buff with Zymol car polish and it worked like a charm It also took two ours and counted as my cardio for the weekend.

I thought about Future but didn't have any on hand.  The final product looks as good as new and I learned a new technique!

It can be done but it is a lot of work.  You need to sand out the glazed area with fine (wet or dry) sandpaper, using finer and finer grades till you get to polish, polish as best you can.

It used to be you had to end up with very fine polish, but now you only need to use a medium polish, as dipping in future will take care of the very fine glaze.  Unfortunately, future is unlikely to do the job by itself- some sanding and polishing is still necessary, but not nearly as much as used to be the case.
