A Half Price Books in my area is selling some Minicraft brand aircraft kits.
I only saw 1/144th scale WWII aircraft ; US Bombers ( B-17, B 24, B 29 ) ; some Japanese WWII single engine aircraft and modern US jet fighters - I believe F-15 and F -18 but I had time for only a quick glance at the jet kits while waiting in line with a purchase.
The price for the US bombers was $8.99 ; Japanese WWII single engine aircraft was $5.99.
I do not know if that is a good deal but just giving a heads up to those who build 1/144th scale in case they wish to check their local stores.
