a "BIG WNW Release

I missed this completely, maybe you guys did too..

BIG doesn't just mean momentous in this case.  It is literary their biggest release with a wing span of just under 3 feet.  Supposed to be mid December.  I may cancel my Tamiya 1/32 F4U-1a order for this..  and maybe my next mortgage payment too.Whistling

WOW, that should be a nice kit. I recall some building a smaller one of these, 72nd I think, for the FSM WW1 Aero GB. Looking at the site, they also have a late version planned which if I remember right is in the same scheme as the one done for the GB.

I take it this is bigger than the Gotha.

Bigger that the Gotha?  Oh yeah.  Wingspan is 7 inches longer.  This a a true beast.   I really want to do one of these and if hat ever should come l to pass... I like the scheme for # 4099 of the late version.

I would love to build it, but what would I do with it afterwards- where would I put it.  I have foresworn to not build any more 1:32 kits- I just don't have the storage room.  Fortunately I have a good 1:72 kit of that subject in my stash.

I had the Lindberg Graf Zeppelin hanging from the light fixture in the center of my den.  Came down about a year ago- fortunately not when I was in the den.  I looked into fixing it, but eventually trashed it.  Be very sure you hang it securely with good quality line!

Well, looks like I won't have to cancel the order for the order for the new F4U-1a.  Just got the email with the price and it is, as expected, as big as the kit.  At $269 it will have to wait for a bit.Crying
