I finally heard something from them after  about 6 weeks and 4 or 5 emails later.  Got my decals in the long run so thats good. I was told "sorry we didn't receive your emails, we see that your card was charged and we received your payment but didn't receive the order." Huh? Anyone can say what they want but the whole thing was unacceptable from a customers standpoint. They should think about switching to paypal and giving 100% to make sure they are providing the service they advertise.

I've had no issues with twoBob's decals when I ordered.  I would say contact them directly before going off the rails and get a response before coming to any conclusion.

I'm a regular customer of Two Bobs.  Have been for years.  I've never had any issues.

I was under the impression that the only way to get the T-45C with the special decals and DVD was to order it through TwoBobs. Once I got mine, I was very impressed with it. Haven't built it yet, though, which seems to be a habit with me........

Everyone was in a craze not get that kit, and twobobs essentially misled folks into believing that if they pre-ordered through them that they get it quicker. The added dvd and decals for further appeal. Then when the kit came in, there was silence on their end as as as shipping dates. After lack of updates, folks started trying to contact them and receiving no responses. It was messy.

Do some research on Tue twobobs debauchery that took place a year or so ago with their T-45 blunder. Where they took all this money on pre orders, and then when it came time to ship, they had a book of excuses, and wouldn't reply to the many folks who were coming for answers. After that experience, I pretty much realized what to expect. Sadly since this incident, I've heard more of the same as far as near impossible to contact, and frequent delays in products arriving. Some say that Bob is working a lot and doesn't have the time to fulfill orders, which is understandable, but either pass the torch or fold up shop. As far as printing to order, most major aftermarket decal companies don't do this. They send off a design for a one time shot from the printers, and when they're gone they're gone,as it's very rare to sell 500 sheets of one decal and turn around and spend the money to print 500 more...only to find out a month later that there were only 20 more people interested. Now you have to eat the loss. Seeing as how twobobs has a "sold out" section, I'd venture to say that they don't do prints to order.

I ordered that same T-45C kit with the Navy Anniversary yellow wings decals (no, not the Yellow Wings company) and walk-around photo CD, but it did take about two months to get it. When I ordered it, it was a pre-order, so I figured that was how long it took them to get everything right before shipping out the kits. First I've heard of any problems with them fulfilling orders for that particular kit.

FYI, I ordered 6 sets of decals directly from the Two Bob's website on December 31st. I received them today. Almost two weeks, but, I was not in a hurry.

I appreciate everyone's responses. I actually received an email on Dec 4 stating that my order would be shipped within 72 hours. The following day it was marked as shipped on the santu checkout site they use. Twobobs site states that orders should  usually be received within 5 business days except overseas orders. It has been over 3 weeks. I have tried emailing twobobs 3 or 4 times with no response. After doing some research I have come across other people who have had the same problem with them.  Bottom line is that it is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. I understand that people are busy but if you are to busy to provide adequate customer service you shouldn't be in business or should stick to using distributors for your products. I know I won't ever order from them again.

They also may print to order if they do not have it pre-made and in stock.

I have ordered from Two Bob's and yes, it took about three weeks to receive the decals. I ordered them during the summer months, so, I'll guess, they are not very fast at shipping orders. However, I didn't have any issue with the time since I was not in a rush. And after the first of the year, I'll order more from them, fully expecting them to take some time to get to me.

I havent purchased anything from twobobs, so I cant really comment on their service; however, I did recently order from 26decals and they are decent enough to let you know that since the order is coming from the UK, shipping may take 30 days or more.  I had ordered some 1/144 airline decals and when the package arrived i discovered that only half of the decal sheet that I thought I had ordered was in the envelope.  At first I was a little upset that after waiting almost the full 30 days that was expected I only received part of the order.  I immediately sent an email to them and I got a response within the day.  They apologized for the error and acknowledged that there must have been a problem when they packaged the decals.  They promptly shipped me the missing portion of the decals and I had them within a couple of weeks.

At least they were good enough to let you know from the begining that shipping was going to take awhile, and secondly that they resolved the issue in a timely manner.  I will definitely do business with them again.

Most mail order places say to allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.  Keep in mind that this is probably the busiest shipping month of the year.

I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.

Have fun.

It's been a while (2 years or so) since I ordered from them, but I don't recall having a problem with delivery time. The decals I DID order were out of register, so that was a little disappointing. They need to check their product better before they ship it out. I ended up building my F/A-18E as a line bird instead of a CAG unit because of the colors that were misprinted.

order from twobobs decals
Posted by Pens96 on Monday, December 22, 2014 11:59 AM

Has anyone else had trouble receiving orders from twobobs decals? I have been waiting over 2 weeks for my order. Not as if I live in Siberia or something. Said it was shipped and over 2 weeks later I am still waiting. I have emailed him 3 or 4 times with no response. No way to run a business. If you don't have time to deal with customers then don't run your own shop, work through distributors only. Anyone frequent these boards who know either of the Bobs?
