plasticjunkie I never wash anything except resin pieces. I use rubbing alcohol wiped on the plastic to clean before painting. It will dry super fast and will remove any junk on the plastic.

Build one at a time? Hah! That'll be the day!!
I just started cutting sprue for my Cyberhobby 109E-4 in the past few days.Today, I noticed one of the sprue sets was deformed into an airfoil shape (ironically), when looking at it on edge. Somewhere between washing it with warm water it may have gotten too hot, or from being too close to my desk lamp. I've carefully checked all the parts and they are all OK. So, I go lucky.... Watch that hot water and the lamps. Ooof, whew... Rookie mistake
