Phil,

    Thank you for that.  I just picked up a Trumpter kit.  Only on mine there is an added color sheet with painting instructions.  And at the very top is a chart that brakes down the colors.

They're painting instructions The H-prefixed black number on a white box is a GSI Creos (Gunze) Aqueous Hobby Color (acrylic) paint number. The attached white number on a black background is the corresponding GSI Creos "Mr Color" (lacquer) paint number.

Back to modelling after 25 years.  Just opened a Trumpeter P-51D Mustang IV.  The instructions for assembling indicate the part number and then have in a box a number.  The number is in a white box and attached to it in another box is often the same number (but sometimes a different number) in black.  Can anyone explain what these are about?
