Hi folks,
I want to do a small diorama with a couple of ME 262's in various stages of service (engine, armament, etc) with service vehicles and personnel. I've have the models, detail parts, and references for the aircraft, but I need some pics of small hangers that might be found around to use as an example for scratch building. Anyone know of references out there that I might use for the buildings?
Thx
Putsie
Putsie, do you have any airports nearby that you might have access to? You could use the hangars, buildings, etc. for a background by using forced perspective. I like to place my models on a tarmac mock-up placed on a card table in front of said buildings. With the camera on a tripod at scale eye-level, it looks pretty real. These will give you an idea of what I mean. Good luck with your diorama, it sounds like a great idea to me!

"All you mugs need to get busy building, and post pics!"
Thanks Gary, I'll just have to ignore the 150's, 172's and that old red tripacer I covet.
Good idea.
You're welcome! I'm glad to help! Yes, sometimes the actual planes there cause a bit of "composition" problem. You just get creative with positioning and usually can keep them from messing with your shot. Sometimes, they might even "fall into place"...like this Japanese trainer taxiing in behind the Shinden.
