Not sure if its the same thread, but there was one in Jan 07 that had a couple of replies. One of which stated that a company was selling one of there sets. It could be that any number of companies picked up there stuff, but its just not mentioned. Many years ago I got several PE aircraft ladders by P.P. Areoparts. Over the years they vanished. Then recently I went to use the ladders for my F-111, but realised I only had one and needed 2.  I found a set from Flightpath which come as a pair so bought one and its exactly the same as the P.P. Aeroparts ladder, but there is no mention of that brand any where.

So in short, they could be out there, but it may have happened years ago, over 8 from the looks of it, and there stuff would have just blended in.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

I think KMC was bought by True Details which is owned by Squadron

I've seen items that were advertised as ex-KMC. Might have been True Details. Companies typically don't advertise that fact. Revell never advertises their releases as ex-Aurora molds.

Squadron bought the aircraft resin and intended to produce them as True Details. VLS bought the armor resin. I bought a couple of blank box KMC sets, one of which turned out to be a 7.5 cm towed infantry gun which later showed up as a Verlinden kit.

Bish., tempestjohnny, , Mississippivol, Rob Gronovius. Thank you all for the leads on were KMC Resin may have gone to.

I have my eye on some KMC wheel set's on E-Bay for Italeri 21/2 ton truck and thought I might find a source for more if needed.

Thanks again Dave M
