info overload

Two days ago, the mailman delivered the 25 Year collection from FSM.

It took some time to load all of it on the PC. I started to browse thru as soon as it was done loading.

I have gotten thru six issues (starting with the oldest). My only complaint is that the cover art in the index only shows up a few of the oldest issues. Judging from the conition of one or two covers, we are lucky to have this stuff preserved like this.

It should take me a year to "skim" thru the collection. Thanks for the bookmarker.

Thanks, FSM, for offering this again.

FSM has been offering a collection of the past 25 Years of Finescale Modeler Magazine on DVD for a couple of years now. Cost about $99.

Maybe I should have kept all my issues since No.1 until the late 90s.

I'm aware of but have not seen the DVD collection. Strange that they would use a poor quality cover. I have every issue of FSM. All of mine are in good or better condition. Back issues are not that difficult to find in VF to mint condition. They aren't like comic books.

The two "ragged" covers were from the first year of publication.
