Any experience in getting parts replaced?

I just crushed the headrest piece of a 1/72 FW 190 A3 two minutes into building this Tamiya offering.
It has been rendered completely unusable.
Does anyone have experience with Tamiya replacing items such as these? It's such a visible piece the model will look odd without it.
