Stocking up for the FUTURE

I was talking to my LHS guy the other day about future, and how I had been hoarding my one and only bottle for the last 8 years. I was down to dipping aircraft canopies only, to try and stretch out the supply. He mentioned that the USA Manufacturer, SC Johnson, of Racine, WI. was discontinuing the brand, and that the improved replacement had some sort of citrus additive that made it less useful (useless ?) for modelling. Put me on to a website where I bought a carton of 6 x 27 fluid ounce bottles for US$68. The distributor also mentioned on their webpage that this product is now discontinued. Don't know if I have succumbed to scare-mongering or panic buying. But I think I now have enough future to see out my modelling days.
