*Caveat - not intended as a political discussion!* News wires just reported. “Warner Bros. Consumer Products has one licensee producing die-cast replicas and vehicle model kits featuring the General Lee with the confederate flag on its roof —as it was seen in the TV series,” a spokesman for the company said via email. “We have elected to cease the licensing of these product categories.” (Via Vulture) Looks like modellers and collectors looking for a scale replica of the General Lee are going to have to pick up their kits in the very near future or learn to mask and paint their own Confederate flags. Sites like e-Bay and Amazon have already banned the sales of any items featuring that flag, so get them before they're gone...
