To SCApilot,   What a good idea. You ought to send this one in to FSM.  Bow Down

Pour CA glue out on a piece of clear scrap plastic or the bottom of glass paint bottle or jar. Leave it to sit for a few minutes and you should see a foggy halo around the glue. Once you see this, you don't have to worry about fumes crazing or fogging the interior of your clear parts. It's still easy to work with and cures just as well as anything else.

You could use Future. Might take awhile to set up.

Thanks everyone for your comments.  I do have that watch crystal glue, I'll give that a test.

Hey Chuck ;

Why don't you paint the backsides of the things you have to glue like that and then use watch crystal glue .You can get it from Micro-Mark !

Gluing Parts on inside of clear canopy
Posted by Cadet Chuck on Monday, June 29, 2015 12:19 PM

I'm building an Apache helicopter.  The instructions want me to paint a couple of instrument panels black, and glue them to the inside of the clear canopy.  I can't imagine how to do this without making it look ugly, no matter what.  These are relatively large panels and so any glue or paint imperfections would really stand out.

I'm thinking it would best just to skip this step and go without the panels.

Suggestions, anybody?
