it was a silver medal for the mustang and an honorable mention for the F117

Congratulations ! was That the Orlando modelpaloosa ? I too got my first award, a Bronze for my B-26 there.

I'm finally retired. Now time I got, money I don't.

congrats. competing is fun as long as you have the right attitude. next step is judging. you can learn a lot since you tend to judge in areas you don't build. for me that is cars and aeroplanes but i build military trucks and helicopters so some of the info crosses categories. we also tend to be our own harshest critics so display your awards proudly. other modelers thought they were worthy so you should to.

Congradulations on the wins. I saw the builds at the show bas unable to see the presentations. I was out in the parking lot and didn't hear the announcement. Then I couldn't get near the doors so I just went back to the main room.
