Today at the IPMS Telford show
Posted by P mitch on Saturday, November 7, 2015 1:03 PM

Just thought I'd let you all know of the things I learnt today at the Telford show ( the biggest in Europe they always say)

First Airfix had two interesting new kits

1/48 Stuka B-1

Looks like a Stuka to me

1/72 Victor

This a preproduction cast so take that into account

1/24 Typhoon Car door - didnt take a picture as we all know its the same as the one from last year.

Delux materials

They are doing their own new bottle for Plastic Magic, smaller but with a brush inside (think the Tamiya bottles really)

Alclad

Here is the big one -- they are doing more than metal paints now, they are getting into enamels. I have a bottle of their US Camouflage Tan and it looks good. I'll do a test shoot tomorrow and post the pictures. They told me they are looking to do a full range over time.

Other than that I didnt stay to see the competition this year so no pictures of them.
