I have a funny story about this. On my way home from a golf expo on saturday i happened to see a hobby lobby I had never been to before. Well I get home and tell my wife that I would like to go to it. Anyway things happened and i didn't get to go. But i did however visit the hobby lobby that is within 15 minutes of my house. When i got there i was broken hearted because all of the kits were 50% off and i missed out visiting another HL during the sale. I was a little mad i didn't know about it going on. Then i saw this and it made my day better. so saturday i am off to explore a new hobby lobby.

Well, here I am in Rapid City, SD. I went to HL today to take advantage of the sale. I got Tamiya's M3 Lee, quad gun tractor and 25 pdr. gun, m41 walker Bulldog and several lesser kits.

I went today. Picked up a Tamiya Bradley and Sherman. Also picked up one of those Hobby Craft Challengers, figured $10 I woud give them a try. Wife got the M20 armored car. Also picked up a NASCAR kit since I have never tried one because I feared all the decals, but now I have them figured out.
Did find out though that the armor section at the one I go to is slowly being phased out. A worker told me all they are ordering is jeeps. Is this happening at them all? I know I have bought about every armor kit that the one I go to ever has anyway.

Wife and I got into the Lawrence Hobby Lobby about 3:30 this afternoon, kits pretty well picked over. Still managed to get a Minicraft (Academy) 1/72 PB4Y-1 Lib and a Revell 1/72 S-100 class S boat. Only spent 20 bucks. Won't say what wife spent.

I feel ya Woody , my wife gave me the guilt trip for about 3 hours and then told me I did real well considering she expected me to spend alot more . As far as the Accurate Miniatures I was lucky to find the Avenger , my local Hobby Lobby usually doesn't sell them and I got the last of the Tamiya kits or I wouldve bought more , so I pretty much had either Revell or HobbyCrap oops I meant Craft LOL Evil [}:)] but I think considering where I'm at I did ok .

I'm pretty lucky in the fact that there doesn't seem to be a lot A/C modelers around here. I drop in ever so often and the plane kits tend to sit around for quite a while. There was a pretty good selection of kits available and I scored several of the new Accurate Miniature 1/48 F-6B's. The only AM kit I didn't buy was one Avenger kit that someone had relieved of it's decals! These B-25 kits are unbelieveable! And at $20 ea. . .Wink [;)]Big Smile [:D]
