I don't add retarder at all when using Tamiya, Model Master acrylics or enamels. My method is the K.I.S.S. method - Keep It Simple Stupid.

I prime in 2 or 3 light coats and let dry completely between coats.

There is really no right or wrong way to go about building a kit. Everyone has their own way of doing things during a build. This is suppose to be a relaxing, fun hobby - not a chore. LOL! In a nutshell, I usually wing it andmake sure I dip all parts in gentle detergent to remove oils and let dry (or pat dry lightly) before priming.

In all seriousness, does it really matter how you store your brushes? I lay mine flat in my tool chest inside the brush case it comes in.

I leave decal in warm water until it starts to slide a little. 10 seconds isn't really enough time for the decals to work. Warm water tend to get cool fairly fast before you're even ready for the next decal.

Sounds like your method works for you but to me it's a bit over the top and anal. I would never follow a strict method as you follow. I have enough stress in real life. LOLOLOL!!! Like a said - K.I.S.S. and wing it.

Yep everyone will have diiferent approaches to this hobby.

I am amazed at the level of detail and time builders with take

on a model, like real copper wire used through out the

cockpit and airframe, but not for me I like BlackSheep

like to keep it simple but everyone will be different.

What ever makes you happy is key.
