Hi everyone,
I have been working on Eduard's 1/48 Avia b.534 which has a natural metal cockpit. I decided to use the humbrol metalizers to paint the cockpit because I have heard good things about them. I ended up getting the buffing metalizer from my hobby store (no. 27002). Unfortunately, there appears to be no information on the internet on how to use it. My questions are thus:
1) From expirementation that I have done it appears that a gloss black base coat works the best with this paint. Let me know what your thoughts are on that.
2)How do I buff the paint? I saw a lot of stuff on buffing in general on the internet, but how do I do it with Humbrol metalizers specifically? How long should I wait before buffing, what do I use to buff, etc. I seem to be getting pretty good coats without buffing but I want to see what you all think.
3) How durable is this stuff? I just want to know how gentle I need to be with it.
