Visiting a friend in Naples Florida. Just visited a couple of LHS' s. Sunnyside Hobby which was ok but catered more to R/C. Then went to Family Hobby found three kits Hasegawa F-86D combo. And Revell F-16 tiger meet. And I could get used to this Florida weather. Gorgeous
Nice finds Tempest. When I lived in Port St Lucie, the LHS's were mostly R/C, with very small inventories of plastic models. I agree with you, I really miss the Florida weather!

We coukld use some of that Florida weather in Illinois. Started snowing last night, taperd off this morning and started comming down heavy again this afternoon. The weather pattern is shifting, the last 3 years we have seen more snow late in the season than is the norm.
But Florida is all flat land... LOL!
BlackSheepTwoOneFour But Florida is all flat land... LOL!
That is correct! And it has hurricanes, and big bugs and half of Animal Plant is flimed there. But, you can take the kids trick or treating in shorts a t-shirt. You can hang all your Christmas lights in shorts and a t-shirt. And you can take down the Christmas lights in shorts and a t-shirt. But, best of all, my wife and I met some of the nicest people, who are still our friends. Yep, we met them while wearing shorts and a t-shirt! LOL
Good for you TJ, I hope you and your wife have a great time and have a safe trip

Our weather here in central Florida has been clear and sunny with lows in the 50s in the morning and high 70s later in the day.
I will take a hurricane any day over an earthquake or a tornado. At least you can prepare for a hurricane. We recently had a couple of tornados around the panhandle due to a severe storm line but nothing like those monsters from the Midwest.
Not all of Florida is flat. The Clermont area not far from me actually has gentle rolling hills that makes you feel like you are not in Florida at all.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
I agree with you, PJ. Of the four states that I have lived in, Florida is the only one I miss.
